Mallory Carr, MA LMHC
My goal is to provide a comfortable, accepting, and professional atmosphere for clients.

Owner and Therapist

Welcome, I'm glad you are here! I was born and raised in central Indiana. I attended Indiana Univeristy for undergrad and University of Indianapolis for grad school. Now I'm raising my family here as well. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two young kids, my husband and our dog.
I have 14 years of experience working with adolescents, college students, and young adults within the Indianapolis and surrounding areas. I have past experience working in multiple school systems, supervising a team of clinicians in a community mental health setting, and I have now been in private practice for the past 8 years.
I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy as well as a range of other therapeutic interventions to assist clients in identifying and overcoming obstacles in their lives. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) focuses on recognizing and understanding the underlying thoughts that impact our emotions, mood, reactions and behaviors. For my younger clients, I also incorporate creative art and play therapy techniques.
My mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to my clients, using a collaborative and nonjudgmental approach. I enjoy working alongside my clients to explore, grow, and accomplish their unique goals. My clinical expertise includes working with clients navigating through life changes, moving, family, college, or job changes. I have many years of experience treating Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, perfectionism, anger, parenting stress, and grief. I have recently taken a more focused training to provide ERP treatment for clients with OCD. I also enjoy work with other moms and those struggling with perinatal or postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.
